What is PDF Page Reorderer?

PDF Page Reorderer lets you rearrange pages in any PDF by dragging thumbnails into your desired order. You can also delete unwanted pages, then save the reorganized document — everything stays on your device.

Each page of the uploaded PDF becomes a draggable thumbnail you can move, duplicate, rotate, or delete. Click a card to select it, Shift-click to pick a range, then delete or rotate the whole selection in one go. Insert blank separator pages anywhere with a single click, and step backward through any change with Ctrl+Z. Deleted pages don't vanish from the workspace — they go into a restore tray so you can bring them back. The tool keeps the original page resources intact and only rewrites the page tree, so text remains selectable and images keep their resolution.

How to use

  1. Upload your PDF — each page appears as a draggable thumbnail preview.
  2. Drag pages to reorder, click to select one or hold Shift to pick a range, then delete, rotate, or insert blank pages. Ctrl+Z undoes any step.
  3. Click Save PDF to download the reorganized document with your new page order.

When to use

  • Putting the cover page back on a PDF where it ended up at the end after scanning.
  • Removing duplicate or blank pages from a merged document before sending it out.
  • Combining the answer key and worksheet pages into the right teaching order.

Result

A teacher rearranges a 30-page worksheet packet, moving the answer key from page 15 to the end and removing 3 blank pages.

FAQ

Does reordering pages change the text or layout inside them?
No. Reordering only changes the page tree — the document's table of contents that points to each page's content. The actual text, fonts, and images on every page stay byte-for-byte identical.
What happens to bookmarks and hyperlinks after I reorder?
External links (http://...) work fine. Internal bookmarks that jumped to specific pages will still point to the original page numbers, so a bookmark to page 5 may now point to a different topic. You'd need a bookmark editor to fix those.
Can I undo a delete after I've saved the PDF?
Before saving, yes — click Restore on the deleted page and it comes back to its slot, or press Ctrl+Z to step backward through any change you made, including deletes, moves, rotations, and inserts. After saving and downloading, the new PDF won't contain those pages, but the original file on your device is untouched, so re-upload it to start over.
Why does my 200-page PDF take a while to load?
Each page renders a thumbnail using pdf.js, which decodes the page content. For large documents this takes a few seconds. Thumbnails appear progressively so you can start reordering before all of them finish loading.
Will the file size change after reordering or deleting pages?
Deleting pages reduces the size by roughly the share you removed, since the page resources are dropped from the output. Reordering without deletion produces a file very close in size to the original, sometimes a bit smaller due to cleaner internal structure.
