What is Video Collage?

Put multiple video clips side by side or in a grid on one canvas. Use it for comparisons, reaction compilations, multi-angle sports footage, or before-and-after presentations.

Drop two to four clips on one canvas, choose a layout (side-by-side, 2x2 grid, or picture-in-picture), trim each clip's in/out points, and sync their start frames so the action lines up. Export at 720p, 1080p, or 1440p as WebM (fast) or MP4 (H.264 transcode, slower).

How to use

  1. Upload 2–4 video clips you want to combine into one frame.
  2. Choose a layout (side by side, 2×2 grid, picture-in-picture) and arrange the clips.
  3. Set the output resolution and duration, then export the combined video as WebM.

When to use

  • Comparing two camera angles of the same workout, dance move, or golf swing.
  • Building reaction videos where your webcam sits beside the source clip.
  • Showing before-and-after edits of a room, recipe, or design project on one screen.

Result

A fitness trainer uploads a front view and side view of an exercise. They pick a side-by-side layout, sync the start points, and export a single video showing both angles for their YouTube tutorial.

FAQ

How many clips can I combine in a single collage?
Up to four. Side-by-side takes two, the grid takes four, and picture-in-picture overlays a smaller clip on top of a main one. Beyond four the layout becomes too cramped on mobile screens, so we cap it there.
Do all the clips need to be the same length?
No. You set the output duration separately and trim each clip's start and end inside the tool. A 30-second clip can sit next to a 12-second clip; whichever ends first holds its last frame until the longer one finishes.
Why does my MP4 export take longer than the WebM export?
WebM uses the codec your browser already records with, so it's a direct save. MP4 needs an H.264 re-encode for compatibility with iPhones and most video editors, which adds processing time roughly equal to the clip length.
Will the audio from all clips play at once?
Yes, every clip's audio mixes in by default. Each clip now has its own volume slider and a mute button right here, so you can silence a noisy one and keep the voiceover loud without opening a separate editor. The background music track has its own volume control too.
What's the maximum resolution for the exported video?
1440p (2560x1440). Higher than that and browser canvas memory becomes a bottleneck on most laptops. For social uploads 1080p is enough; 1440p is useful only if you plan to crop into the result later.
