What is Wedding Planner?
Wedding Planner keeps your tasks, guest list, vendors, and budget in one place. Set deadlines, track RSVPs, log spending, and export it all as CSV. Everything stays private on your device.
Six tabs sit side by side: tasks bucketed by timeline (12+ months down to wedding day), a guest list with RSVP status, meal preference and table number, a drag-and-drop seating chart that places attending guests at named tables, a vendor tracker with booking status, deposit paid and balance due, a budget tracker that compares allocated against spent per category, and a day-of timeline of the wedding day hour by hour. Export the whole plan as a CSV or a combined PDF with every view.
How to use
- Set your wedding date and start adding tasks organized by timeline (12 months out, 6 months, etc.).
- Manage your guest list with names, RSVP status, meal preferences, and table assignments.
- Track your budget with categories for venue, catering, attire, flowers, and more. Export everything as CSV.
When to use
- Tracking which vendors are booked versus still pending six months out from the date.
- Collecting RSVPs and meal choices to send a final headcount to the caterer.
- Watching the budget category-by-category so flowers don't quietly eat the photography budget.
Result
A couple planning a June wedding creates 45 tasks across 12 months, tracks 120 guests with dietary preferences, and monitors a $25,000 budget with $18,500 committed so far.
FAQ
- Does my data sync between my laptop and my phone?
- No. Everything stays in your device's local storage, on the machine where you typed it. Open the page on another device and you'll see an empty plan. To share with a partner, export the plan as a CSV and send them the file.
- What happens to my plan if I clear this site's saved data?
- It disappears. The saved data is wiped along with cookies and site data, so export to CSV or PDF after every big editing session. The exported file is your real backup.
- Can two people edit the same plan together?
- Not directly, since there's no account or cloud sync. The usual workaround: one person keeps the live plan and the other reviews exported CSVs, then sends notes back to enter by hand.
- How should I set up timeline buckets if my engagement is shorter than a year?
- Skip the 12+ months bucket and start tasks in the 6–9 month or 3–6 month slot. The buckets are labels, not deadlines: you pick the one that fits when you add a task, and you can edit any task's text inline at any time. Set a wedding date and each bucket shows its suggested deadline.
- Will the PDF export include the budget totals?
- Yes. The combined PDF prints the task list, guest list, seating chart, vendor list, budget table, and day-of timeline, with allocated, spent, and remaining totals at the bottom of the budget section and deposit and balance totals under the vendors. It's designed to hand to a planner or family member.
