What is Bio Generator?
Create social media bios for Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more. Pick a platform and tone, and get ready-to-use profile text from dozens of templates. Free and private — nothing leaves your device.
Six platforms are supported with their actual character limits baked in: Instagram (150), Twitter/X (160), LinkedIn (220), TikTok (80), Threads (150), and YouTube About (1000). Five tones change the wording (Professional, Casual, Funny, Creative, Minimalist), and optional name, profession, interests, niche, keywords and call-to-action fields get woven into the template so the bio reads as yours rather than a generic placeholder. A target-audience setting (recruiters, followers, clients, or collaborators) adds a fitting closing line, and an emoji toggle adds platform-appropriate decoration when you want a bit more personality. A Person or Brand switch reshapes the voice: personal bios stay first-person, brand bios read in company voice, and you can ask for 3, 5, or 10 variations at once. Each result is tagged with its angle (achievement-focused, personality-driven, value proposition, call-to-action, or story-based), and you can save the ones you like so a regenerate never loses them.

FAQ
- Why does each platform have a different character cap?
- Each social network sets its own bio field length. TikTok only allows 80 characters, Instagram and Threads 150, Twitter/X 160, LinkedIn 220, YouTube's About section goes up to 1000. The generator respects each cap so what you copy will fit.
- Should I fill in name and profession, or leave them blank?
- Filling them in produces much sharper, role-specific bios. Leave them blank and you get generic templates with placeholders like [Name]. The interests field, when set, often turns into a third clause like "into hiking, coffee, sci-fi novels".
- How do I pick the right tone?
- Professional suits LinkedIn and job-hunt accounts. Casual fits Instagram and Threads for everyday people. Funny works for Twitter/X. Creative is good for artists and designers. Minimalist gives you a one-liner if you don't want anything verbose.
- Why do I get the same bio twice sometimes?
- It draws your chosen number of templates (3, 5, or 10) at random from the pool for the platform and tone you picked. When the pool is small (say, TikTok plus Minimalist) and you ask for more bios than it holds, some are bound to repeat. Switch tone or platform once, then back, and the random pull refreshes.
- Can I edit the result before posting?
- Yes, the output is plain text. Copy the bio, paste it into a notes app or directly into the platform's bio editor, then tweak names, add emoji or trim a clause. The tool's job is the starting draft — the personal pass is up to you.
