What is Poll/Vote Creator?

Poll/Vote Creator lets you set up quick polls with multiple options and collect votes right on your device. Use it for classroom decisions, team meetings, or settling friendly debates — no account or online service needed.

Type a question, drop in as many options as you like, then click an option to add a vote. Live percentages and a bar chart update with each tap, and the results can leave as plain text, a CSV spreadsheet, a PNG screenshot of the chart, or a single-page PDF. Turn on One vote per device to keep a session from voting twice, and duplicate options are ignored automatically so you don't double-count.

How to use

  1. Step 1 — Enter your poll question and add two or more answer options.
  2. Step 2 — Share your screen, pass your device around, or send the share link so people can cast their votes.
  3. Step 3 — View the live results as a bar chart showing vote counts and percentages.

When to use

  • Picking a lunch spot when the team Slack is too noisy to decide on its own.
  • Running a quick show-of-hands at a workshop and recording the result without paper.
  • Settling a household vote on what film to put on without anyone shouting.

Result

At a team lunch, create a poll asking 'Where should we eat?' with options like Pizza, Sushi, Burgers, and Tacos. Pass the phone around and see Sushi win with 5 out of 12 votes.

FAQ

Can voters cast their vote from their own phone?
They can open the poll on their own phone with the share link or QR code, but each device counts votes on its own — the tallies do not merge. For a single combined result, pass one device around or share the screen and click the option for each voter.
How many options can a single poll have?
There is no hard cap. The chart stays readable up to roughly 12 options; beyond that the bars get thin. If you need more, group similar answers or run two polls one after the other.
Is the result anonymous?
The tally is anonymous because the tool only stores option text and vote counts, not who voted. There is no login, no email field, and nothing leaves your device when you tap.
Will I lose my votes if I refresh the page?
Yes. Votes live in memory only and disappear on refresh or tab close. Tap Copy Results, Download PNG, or Download PDF before reloading if you want to keep them.
Can I prevent someone from voting twice?
There is no foolproof block — the tool never tracks identity. The closest safeguard is the One vote per device toggle, which uses the current session to stop a second vote from the same device; a fresh tab, a private window, or another phone still gets its own vote. For real trust, pass the device hand to hand with someone watching. The Reset Votes button starts a clean round whenever you need one.
