What is Routine Planner?

Routine Planner lets you create named routines with timed activities. Build morning, work, or evening routines and see where every minute goes.

Each routine has its own start time, then activities stack one after another in minute increments. The planner shows the running clock so you can see exactly when each step begins and ends. Multiple routines coexist, so morning, gym, and evening can sit side by side without overwriting each other.

How to use

  1. Step 1 — Create a new routine by giving it a name (e.g., Morning Routine) and a start time.
  2. Step 2 — Add activities with their duration in minutes. The planner auto-calculates end times for each activity.
  3. Step 3 — Review your complete routine timeline and adjust durations or reorder activities as needed.

Are my routines saved when I come back later?
Yes. Routines are now saved privately on this device, so they're still here when you reopen the page or close the tab and return. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — the data stays with you. The .txt export button is still there when you want a copy on disk or something to share.
How do I reorder activities once they're in a routine?
Use the up and down arrows on each activity row. End times recalculate automatically, so swapping a 15-minute shower with a 5-minute stretch immediately shifts every later activity.
What's the difference between this and a calendar app?
A calendar pins events to clock times. This planner cares about durations and the order they run in, so it's better for sequences you repeat daily where the start time changes but the structure doesn't.
Can the duration of an activity be in hours instead of minutes?
Durations are stored in minutes for precision. A 90-minute workout is entered as 90, a two-hour study block as 120. This keeps the math simple when activities run 10 or 25 minutes.
How many routines can I have open at once?
No fixed limit. Keep a morning routine, an evening routine, and a weekend version side by side. The page handles dozens before performance becomes noticeable on a typical laptop.
