What is Weight Tracker?

Weight Tracker lets you log daily or weekly weigh-ins and visualise your progress on a line chart. Set a target weight and watch the trend line move toward it. All data stays on your device — nothing is sent to a server.

Each entry stores the date and weight you key in, and the chart smooths weekly averages so a single bad weigh-in does not skew the trend. You can switch between kilograms and pounds, filter the view to the last 1, 3, 6, or 12 months, edit or delete any past row, import a CSV from a spreadsheet or another app, and export everything as CSV for a doctor or as JSON to back up the data. A Save as Image button turns your stats and chart into a shareable PNG.

How to use

  1. Step 1 — Enter your current weight, and set a target if you have one.
  2. Step 2 — Log a new entry each day or week. The chart updates automatically.
  3. Step 3 — Review your trend line to see if you're on track toward your goal.

When to use

  • Logging weekly weigh-ins during a deliberate cut or bulk to confirm the diet is working.
  • Tracking weight changes after a medication change or pregnancy to share with your GP.
  • Keeping a long-term record of fluctuations after surgery or during recovery.

Result

You start at 85 kg with a goal of 78 kg. Over eight weeks you log weekly entries and the chart shows a steady downward trend from 85 to 80.5 kg.

FAQ

Where is my weight data stored?
Locally, on your own device, and nowhere else. Nothing is sent to a server, so the data only exists where you logged it. If you clear site data or switch devices the history goes with it — so export a CSV or JSON backup every few months if it matters, and import it back any time.
How often should I weigh in?
Once a week, at the same time of day, in the same clothes, gives the cleanest signal. Daily weigh-ins are fine if you can ignore short-term noise from food, salt, and water, but most people find weekly less stressful.
Why does the trend line look flat when I lost weight this week?
The chart plots every entry but the visible trend depends on the date range. A 1-month view exaggerates short-term dips, while a 1-year view smooths them. Switch the time filter to see whichever scale fits your question.
Can I switch between kilograms and pounds without losing my entries?
Yes. The unit toggle changes how new entries are interpreted and how the chart axis is labelled, but the stored values stay as numbers. If you mix units the chart will show whatever you logged, so pick a unit and stay with it.
How do I delete or edit a single entry?
Open the entries table below the chart. Click the pencil icon on any row to edit its date or weight in place, then the check mark to save — or the trash icon to delete the row. Editing is handy for fixing a typo or a wrong date without re-logging the whole entry.
