What is Affirmation Card Maker?

This tool designs affirmation cards you can print or save, with your own words on the card. Write an affirmation, pick a color theme and card style, then export a single card or a full printable sheet to cut out. Useful for daily practice, gifts, or a classroom encouragement deck.

Cards are portrait 5:7, the usual cut-out proportion. There are four styles and six palettes, including a dark ink one for a card that sits on a nightstand. A single card downloads at 1500 by 2100 pixels, enough for 300 DPI printing, and the print sheet is a PDF laying 1, 2, 4, 6 or 9 cards per A4 page with dashed cut guides.

How to use

1. Type your affirmation — or tap the inspiration button for a starting phrase to customize.

What paper works best for a deck I am going to cut out and handle?

Card stock around 250 gsm survives shuffling; ordinary 80 gsm paper curls within a week. Print the PDF at 100 percent rather than fit-to-page, or the dashed guides shift and the cards come out slightly small.

How many words can one affirmation be before it stops fitting the card?

About a short sentence. Text is fitted to the card automatically, so a longer line simply shrinks, and past roughly fifteen words it gets small enough to fight the border. Present tense also reads better on a card than future tense.

Where do the phrases behind the inspiration button actually come from?

A hand-written pool, composed separately in each of the site's languages instead of translated across from English. Tapping again cycles to a different one, and anything it offers can be edited before you export.

Can each card on the printed sheet carry a different affirmation?

Yes. Add lines to the deck and the sheet fills them in order, so nine cards on one A4 page can be nine different phrases. Style and palette apply to the whole deck rather than card by card.
