What is Dream Board Maker?
A dream board is a freeform collage of images and captions that stand for your goals. Upload pictures, place and resize them anywhere on the canvas, add caption text on styled chips, and export the board as a wallpaper-ready image. Everything is put together privately on your device.
The canvas comes in three sizes: 1080 by 1920 for a phone, 1920 by 1080 for a desktop, and a 1080 square. Images drop in anywhere and can be dragged, resized, and pushed in front of or behind each other. Captions sit in colored chips, or transparent ones if you want the words straight on the photo. The PNG exports at full canvas size.
How to use
- Pick a board size: phone wallpaper, desktop wallpaper, or square. Then choose a background color.
- Upload images and drag, resize, or layer them freely; double-tap to bring one to the front.
- Add captions like "Marathon 2027" with styled text chips, then download the board as PNG.
When to use
- Building a lock-screen wallpaper out of goal photos you already have saved.
- Laying out a moodboard for a house move or a room you are redecorating.
- Dating each goal with a caption chip so the board doubles as a deadline.
Result
Planning a career change: upload five images (a studio desk, a certificate, a city skyline), arrange them on a phone-wallpaper canvas, caption each with a goal date, then set the export as your lock screen.
FAQ
- How many photos can one board hold before it gets slow to move around?
- There is no fixed limit, but each file is capped at 20 MB and everything is drawn on a single canvas, so a dozen large photos make dragging feel heavy on an older phone. Eight to ten is a comfortable board anyway.
- Which canvas size should I pick if the board is going on my phone?
- The 1080 by 1920 preset matches a standard portrait screen. Newer phones are taller, so the system may crop a strip off the top and bottom: keep captions away from the outer edges and nothing important gets lost.
- One photo is covering another. Can I change which one sits on top?
- Select the item and send it to the back, or bring it forward. Order is tracked per item rather than per layer group, so putting a caption chip over a photo is just a matter of selecting the chip and bringing it to the front.
- If I close the page, is the board still here when I come back?
- Yes. Images, positions, captions, board size, and background are kept on this device, so reopening the page brings back what you left. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Clear All erases that saved copy too, which is the thing to do on a shared computer.
