What is Carousel Maker?

Carousel Maker helps you build multi-slide carousels for Instagram and LinkedIn. Design each slide with text, background colors, and font choices, then export the whole set as individual images or a single PDF ready to upload.

Pick from three aspect ratios: square (1080x1080) for Instagram feed, portrait (1080x1350) for the in-feed sweet spot, or 9:16 (1080x1920) for stories and Reels covers. Each slide gets its own background colour, text alignment, font family, and font size, plus an optional photo background with a darken slider for text legibility. Eight one-click design templates (Bold, Quote, Minimal, Warm, Tip, Stat, Pastel, Editorial) restyle every slide at once when you want a coordinated look fast. Reorder by moving slides, then export everything in one go as separate PNGs or a single multi-page PDF.

How to use

  1. Add slides and customize each one with text, background color, and font style.
  2. Reorder slides with the Move up and Move down arrows, and preview the full carousel.
  3. Export all slides as PNG images or a single PDF document.

When to use

  • Building a 5-slide LinkedIn tip carousel without opening Canva or paying for Figma.
  • Making a quick Instagram swipe-through to break a long caption into bite-sized cards.
  • Designing a class recap or product walkthrough to share as a PDF.

Result

Building a '5 Tips for Remote Work' LinkedIn carousel: add 7 slides (cover + 5 tips + CTA), style with your brand colors, and export as PNG images to upload.

FAQ

How many slides can I add to one carousel?
There's no hard limit in the tool, but Instagram caps a single post at 10 slides and LinkedIn caps PDF documents at 300 pages. Most carousels that actually get swiped through sit between 5 and 8 slides.
Can I use custom fonts or brand fonts?
The tool ships with six font families (sans-serif, serif, monospace, Impact, Georgia, Arial Black). Custom font upload is not supported yet. Pick the closest match, then keep the same family across slides for visual consistency.
Why does my PNG look pixelated after uploading to Instagram?
Instagram re-compresses every image. The 1080-pixel export is already at platform-recommended resolution, so the loss is from their algorithm, not the export. Avoid further resizing before upload.
Will I lose my work if I close the tab?
No. Every change is saved on your device automatically, so you can close the tab and come back to find the same slides waiting. Hit Clear saved when you want to start over fresh.
Can I add images to slides?
Yes, each slide takes a background photo with a darken slider to keep text legible on top. For inline icons or multiple images per slide, design those externally, save them as PNG, and drop each one in as its own slide background.
