What is Collage Maker?

Combine multiple photos into one image with grid layouts. Pick a template, drop in a caption, choose an output size for Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook or Twitter, then download as PNG or JPG.

Upload up to a dozen photos and drop them into preset grids like 2x2, 3x3 or magazine-style mosaics. Adjust cell spacing, corner radius and background colour, drag photos between cells, and pick fit or fill per cell. Add an optional caption you can drag anywhere on the preview, choose a social-platform output size (Instagram Post, Story, Pinterest, Facebook Cover, Twitter), then download as PNG or JPG — or copy straight to your clipboard to paste into chat.

How to use

  1. Upload 2 or more photos from your device.
  2. Select a grid layout template and drag photos into position within each cell.
  3. Adjust spacing, border radius, and background color, then download the collage.

When to use

  • Combining four to nine vacation photos into one Instagram or Pinterest post.
  • Building a wedding or birthday photo card without opening a heavy editor like Photoshop.
  • Putting before/after shots side by side for a real estate listing or a portfolio review.

Result

Combine 4 vacation photos into a 2×2 grid, add a caption that says "Summer 2024", switch the output size to Instagram Post, and download as JPG ready to share.

FAQ

How many photos can I fit in one collage?
The largest layout uses nine cells, but you can switch grids freely and drop new photos into them. Twelve uploaded photos is comfortable. With many large images on a low-RAM device, the preview may slow before export.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere when I make a collage?
No. Files load straight into the canvas from your device and the final PNG is generated locally before it saves to your device. Nothing is sent to a server, which matters for family or work photos.
What's the difference between Fit and Fill for a cell?
Fit shows the entire photo with letterboxing if the aspect ratio differs from the cell. Fill crops the photo edge-to-edge so the cell is filled completely, useful for clean uniform grids when faces are centred.
What resolution does the exported PNG have?
Pick an output size before downloading. The Square preset gives 1200×1200, Instagram Story is 1080×1920, and the Pinterest and Facebook presets match each platform's recommended dimensions. Start with high-resolution photos so each cell still has plenty of detail at the chosen size.
Can I save the collage as JPEG instead of PNG?
Yes. Pick PNG or JPG before downloading. JPG ends up five to ten times smaller, handy for messaging apps and email. Stay on PNG when you want crisp edges or a transparent background.
