What is Flag Quiz?
Flag Quiz tests your knowledge of world flags. Pick the right country for each flag from multiple-choice options, or flip to Reverse mode and pick the matching flag from a country name. Six modes plus a shared daily challenge and regional filters let you study casually or push for a high score.
The question pool covers 168 countries spread across Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. Country names use the page language directly so a French player sees Allemagne instead of Germany. Pick a mode that fits the session: Classic runs 15 random flags, Daily serves the same 10 flags to everyone each day, Timed counts how many you nail in 60 seconds, Reverse shows a country name and asks for the matching flag, Streak ends the moment you slip, and Learn keeps repeating until every flag in the pool was answered correctly at least once. Each round tracks accuracy, longest streak, and final score, and your personal best for each mode is saved on this device so you can chase your own record across sessions. Finish a round to copy a shareable score card — Daily even produces a green-and-red emoji grid like the one that spreads daily word puzzles.

FAQ
- How many flags are in the question pool?
- There are 168 countries covering every populated continent. Classic and Reverse rounds draw 15 of them at random, Daily serves a fixed set of 10 that is the same for everyone that day, Timed and Streak draw as many as you can answer, and Learn cycles through the entire pool until every flag is correct at least once.
- Are the country names localized to my language?
- Yes. The quiz uses the page language directly, so the same flag question appears as France in English, Frankreich in German, and Francia in Spanish. Translations come from your device's locale data and match what your operating system ships.
- What are the game modes?
- Classic shows 15 random flags and you pick the country. Daily gives everyone the same 10 flags each day, so you can compare scores with friends. Timed gives you 60 seconds to answer as many as possible. Reverse flips it — a country name appears and you pick the matching flag. Streak ends the round on your first wrong answer, scoring how far you got. Learn re-queues every flag you miss so you have to get all 168 right at least once before the round ends.
- How is the score calculated at the end?
- Each correct answer adds one point. Accuracy is correct divided by total answered, expressed as a percentage. Your best streak in a round is the longest run of consecutive correct answers. Streak mode scores you on how many you chained before the first miss; Learn mode scores you on completing the full pool.
- Can I focus on a single region or continent?
- Yes. The setup screen has a Region filter for Africa, Americas, Asia, Europe, or Oceania, and the pool counter updates live so you know exactly how many flags are in play. Pair a region with any of the five modes — for example, Learn mode on Africa is a fast way to drill the continent without the rest of the world getting in the way.
