How to use

FAQ

What size is the downloaded PNG, and will it look sharp on mobile?

Pick the size you need before downloading. The default 4×5 is sized at 800×1000 pixels for Instagram posts. There is also 5×7 portrait for standard photo-card paper, A5 (148×210 mm) for European print, and 5×5 square for Facebook event covers. Files usually land between 200 and 500 KB depending on theme and any background photo.

Can I add my own background photo or only use the preset themes?

Upload any JPG, PNG, or WebP under 10 MB and it replaces the background. Text colors stay editable on top, so you can lighten the photo overlay manually by choosing a warmer accent and a darker text shade for contrast.

How do I make the text readable when the background is busy?

Switch to the Bold layout, it places a solid accent header band behind the title, giving text guaranteed contrast even over a chaotic photo. Or pick the Classic layout and use the custom theme with a near-black text color.

Can I send the invite as a link instead of an image?

You can export the invitation as a PNG or JPEG image, or as a print-ready PDF. There is also a Copy text button that puts a plain-text summary of the details on your clipboard, ready to paste into WhatsApp, SMS, email, or a calendar invite. For a hosted RSVP page with replies, pair the visual from here with a service like Partiful.

Why does the date show in my local format and not in the format I typed?

The date on the canvas now renders as a full weekday, month, and year in your locale (for example Saturday, June 14, 2026 in English, samedi 14 juin 2026 in French). The time renders in 12-hour AM/PM. To force a different style, type it directly into the event title field.
