What is Greeting Card Maker?

Design personalized greeting cards for birthdays, holidays, weddings, and more. Choose from themed templates, add your own message and images, customize fonts and colors, then download as a printable high-resolution image.

Choose the card shape with one toggle: Landscape (1200x800), Portrait (800x1200) for a tall printed card, or Square (1080x1080) for a social post. Nine themed presets ship in: birthday with scattered confetti, holiday with hand-drawn snowflakes, wedding with overlapping hearts, thank-you with sprinkled stars, anniversary with linked rings, graduation with mortarboard caps, sympathy with soft drooping leaves, baby shower with pastel dots, plus a blank canvas if you want full control. Each preset comes with a tailored accent colour and four tap-to-fill phrase suggestions, so you can put a card together in under a minute. Add a recipient line, a photo, a sign-off, swap between Georgia, Arial, Brush Script and Courier, then download a PNG, JPEG or print-ready PDF, or copy the card straight to your clipboard to paste into chat.

How to use

  1. Step 1 — Select an occasion (birthday, holiday, wedding, thank you, etc.) and pick a template or start with a blank canvas.
  2. Step 2 — Customize your card: edit the greeting text, change fonts and colors, upload a personal photo, and adjust the layout.
  3. Step 3 — Preview your finished card, then download it as a high-resolution PNG ready for printing or digital sharing.

When to use

  • Whipping up a quick 'happy birthday' card for a colleague instead of buying one at the shop.
  • Personalising a wedding congratulations card with a couple's photo before the ceremony.
  • Designing a thank-you card after a fundraiser or class gift to email to the contributors.

Result

Create a birthday card: select the birthday template, type 'Happy 30th Birthday, Sarah!', change the accent color to gold, add a photo, and download at print quality.

FAQ

What size does the card come out as? Will it print well?
Pick a shape with the Card Format toggle: Landscape is 1200x800 (a 4x6 print at 200 ppi), Portrait is 800x1200 for a tall 5x7-style card, and Square is 1080x1080 for an Instagram post. Download a PNG or JPEG, or grab a print-ready PDF to send to a shop. For chat or email, the PNG is already perfect, or just hit Copy Image and paste it straight in.
Can I add my own photo to the card?
Yes. Drag-and-drop or click the photo upload box. The image fits into a side panel and stays separate from the greeting text, so the text always stays readable. Remove the photo any time to go back to a text-only card.
Why does the blank template look so plain?
Blank is intentionally pattern-free so you can build something custom — retirement, get-well-soon, housewarming, anything that doesn't fit the eight occasion presets. Use the accent colour and font picker to set the mood, drop in a phrase from the suggestions chips, then add a photo if you want.
Will the recipient know I made it instead of buying one?
Probably, because the layouts here are clean and minimal rather than copying supermarket card art. That's the point: a personal digital card that arrives today often lands better than a generic one in the post.
Can I save my card to keep editing later?
Not yet — there's no save slot, so when you close the tab the card resets. The workaround is to download the PNG once you're close to done, then come back and re-enter the text if you need to tweak it.
