What is Invitation Maker?

Create professional event invitations for weddings, birthdays, parties, and more. Choose from pre-designed templates or start from scratch, customize text, colors, and layout, then download your invitation as a high-quality image.

Pick from 48 templates across twelve event types (wedding, birthday, party, baby shower, graduation, anniversary, housewarming, holiday, corporate, gender reveal, bridal shower, bachelorette). Each template ships with its own background pattern (floral, confetti, geometric, stars, dots), border style, and colour palette, but every element is editable. You can drop in a photo, choose portrait, square, or landscape, and download the card as a high-resolution PNG, a JPG, or a print-ready PDF.

How to use

  1. Select an invitation template or choose a blank canvas, then set the event type (wedding, birthday, party, etc.).
  2. Customize the text, fonts, colors, date, time, and venue details to match your event theme.
  3. Preview your invitation and download it as a PNG image or a print-ready PDF for printing or digital sharing.

When to use

  • Putting together a last-minute birthday or wedding invitation when there's no time to call a designer.
  • Generating a quick digital card to share in a WhatsApp group, Discord server, or Facebook event.
  • Sketching a draft layout in 30 seconds before committing to a printed version at the local print shop.

Result

Creating a birthday party invitation: select the 'Birthday' event, pick a template, change the heading to 'You're Invited to Sarah's 30th!', add the date 'March 25, 2026' and venue 'The Garden Lounge', upload a photo, then download the finished card as a PNG or PDF.

FAQ

What size is the downloaded image?
By default the canvas is portrait at 1200×1600 px, a 3:4 ratio that prints cleanly at A6 (105×148 mm) and looks crisp on phone screens. You can also switch to square (1200×1200) for social posts or landscape (1600×1200) for screens. Whatever you pick, the PDF download keeps the image sharp at any print size.
Can I change the colours or fonts shown in the template?
Yes. Every text element has independent font family, font size, and colour controls. The background colour and accent colour are editable too. Picking a template just gives you a starting layout — every value can be overridden.
Can I download the invitation as a PDF?
Yes. Alongside the PNG, there is a Download PDF button that places the card on an A4 page with margins, so you can print it at home or hand the file to a local print shop. The PNG is still handy when you just want to drop the invitation into a chat or an email.
Will the invitations look the same on phones and desktops?
Yes — the PNG, JPG and PDF are all flattened so they render identically wherever they are opened. Only the editor preview scales to fit the screen. The downloaded file is always at full resolution: 1200×1600 for portrait, 1200×1200 for square, or 1600×1200 for landscape.
Can I add a photo or a logo to the card?
Yes. Use the Photo control in the settings panel to upload an image from your device — it is drawn as a circular portrait near the top of the card with an accent ring. Remove it any time to go back to a typography-only layout.
