What is Name Tag Maker?

Create professional name tags for conferences, meetings, and events. Customize layout, fonts, colors, and add logos or titles. Download a print-ready PDF for standard label sheets, or export each tag as a PNG image (single file or a ZIP of the whole list) for digital lanyards and virtual meetings.

Four preset tag sizes match standard Avery sheets (5395, 5392, plus 3.5x2.25 and 4x3 inches), so the downloaded PDF prints straight onto a peel-and-stick label sheet. Add a logo, an event name banner, switch between six color themes or pick custom colors, and tune the name and detail font sizes per tag.

How to use

  1. Enter attendee names — paste a list or add one at a time with optional titles and organizations.
  2. Customize the tag design: choose label size, font, colors, borders, and optionally add a logo or event name.
  3. Preview the layout, then download as a multi-page PDF formatted for standard label sheets.

When to use

  • Printing badges for a workshop, hackathon or training day from a registration spreadsheet.
  • Producing recurring meet-up name tags with consistent branding, logo and event title.
  • Making church, school or volunteer team tags where each person gets a role under the name.

Result

You're organizing a 50-person workshop. Paste all names from your spreadsheet, select 'Avery 5395' label size, add your company logo, and download a print-ready PDF.

FAQ

Which Avery sheets does the tag layout fit on?
The Avery 5395 preset uses 3.38 x 2.33 inch slots (8 per sheet) and 5392 uses 3 x 4 inch slots (6 per sheet). The standard and large presets also work with most generic peel-off label stock at those measurements.
Can I import 50 names at once instead of typing them?
Yes. Upload a CSV file or use the paste-list button. With a header row, columns named name, title, organization, role and url map automatically in any order; without one, the first three fields per line become name, title and organization. The role shows as a pill on the tag and a url renders as a scannable QR code.
What logo format should I upload?
Transparent PNG works best, but JPG and SVG also load. The logo is placed at the top of every tag at a fixed size, so a square or wide rectangular crop usually looks cleanest.
Will long names get cut off?
Names are auto-shrunk to fit the tag width if they're longer than about 18 characters. For very long names, drop the name font size by 2 or 3 points in the design panel before downloading.
Can I print a single name tag, not a full sheet?
Yes. If you only have one attendee in the list, the PDF still uses the full sheet layout but only the first slot is filled. Cut along the gridlines or print on a single tag-sized card.
