What is Social Media Post Creator?

Social Media Post Creator helps you design perfectly sized posts for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Choose from preset dimensions, add text with custom fonts, upload background images, and adjust colors — then download ready-to-post images.

Six platforms are wired in with their exact dimensions: Instagram (Square, Portrait, Story, Landscape), Facebook (Post, Cover, Story, Event), Twitter/X (Post, Header), TikTok (Cover, Profile), LinkedIn (Post, Cover, Story), and YouTube (Thumbnail, Channel Art, Shorts). Pick a starter template to skip the blank canvas, then stack text layers with nine font families, tune letter spacing, line height and per-layer opacity, drag headlines anywhere on both axes, duplicate styled layers in one click, drop in filled rectangles, circles or divider lines as a shape layer, fit a background image with cover, contain, fill, or original modes, and export as PNG, JPG, or WEBP.

How to use

  1. Select a platform and post type (e.g., Instagram Square 1080×1080, Twitter Header 1500×500, TikTok Video 1080×1920).
  2. Design your post: add text layers, upload a background image, choose colors and fonts. Drag to position elements.
  3. Preview your design and download as PNG — sized exactly for the selected platform.

When to use

  • Cutting one product photo to the right size for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn in one sitting.
  • Building a YouTube thumbnail with a punchy headline before uploading a video.
  • Designing TikTok covers and Instagram Reels at exactly 1080×1920 without guesswork.

Result

You're promoting a weekend sale on Instagram. Select 'Instagram Square', upload your product photo as the background, add '50% OFF THIS WEEKEND' text in bold white, position it center-bottom, and download the 1080×1080 image.

FAQ

Do the preset sizes follow each platform's current spec?
Yes. Instagram Square is 1080×1080, Twitter Header is 1500×500, YouTube Thumbnail is 1280×720, LinkedIn Post is 1200×627. These match the upload specs each platform publishes, so the export won't be cropped on upload.
How many text layers can I stack on one post?
As many as you need. Click Add Text to create a new layer, then drag each one on the canvas to reposition. Each layer keeps its own font, size, color, bold, italic, alignment, opacity, letter spacing, and line height, so headlines and subtitles stay independent. You can also stack shape layers (rectangles, circles, lines) underneath the text to highlight or divide content.
What's the difference between Cover, Contain, Fill, and Original for the background image?
Cover fills the canvas and crops overflow. Contain fits the whole image inside, leaving bars. Fill stretches the image to the exact canvas, even if it distorts. Original keeps the image at its true pixel size, centred.
Can I use a custom font that isn't in the dropdown?
The dropdown lists Arial, Georgia, Verdana, Trebuchet, Impact, Courier New, Comic Sans, Palatino, and Garamond — all widely available system fonts so the export renders the same on every machine. Custom web fonts aren't loaded into the canvas.
What formats can I download in, and is the quality lossless?
Choose PNG, JPG, or WEBP from the Format row above the download button. PNG is lossless, ideal for crisp text and flat colour. JPG produces smaller files for photo-heavy posts. WEBP gives even smaller files at similar quality and is widely accepted on social platforms. All three export at the platform's full canvas resolution.
