What is Trivia Quiz?
Multiple-choice trivia across science, history, geography, sports, and pop culture. Pick how many questions you want — 5, 10, 15, or 20 — and your best score for each setup saves on your device so you can chase it.
Each round draws a random set from five categories — Science, History, Geography, Pop Culture, and Sports — or you can lock the filter to just one. Choose a length of 5, 10, 15, or 20, or hit Quick Play for an instant 10-question mix. Wrong answers reveal the correct one straight away, and the end-of-round review shows both what you picked and the right answer. Missed a few? Retry just those. Your best score saves on your device.
How to use

When to use
- Killing five minutes between meetings or while waiting for the kettle.
- Warming up before a pub quiz or trivia night with friends.
- Settling an argument by letting the quiz pick which one of you knows random facts better.
Result
You pick 'Science': 'Which planet has the most moons?' — Saturn. Set the round to 15 questions and you finish 12/15; switch it to 5 for a quick coffee-break round or 20 to really stretch.
FAQ
- How many questions are there in total?
- The bank holds 101 questions spread across the five categories. Each round shuffles your chosen count (5, 10, 15, or 20) from the pool, so consecutive rounds rarely repeat — you can comfortably play a dozen rounds before you start seeing the same prompts again.
- Can I play only one category at a time?
- Yes. On the setup screen, pick a single category instead of All before tapping Start. The 10 questions will then be drawn only from Science, History, Geography, Pop Culture, or Sports, whichever you chose.
- Where does my high score live?
- It saves to your device under the key 'trivia-quiz-high-scores' — one record per category-and-length combination, so playing History on 10 questions tracks separately from playing All on 20. Records survive reloads but don't sync to another device or account. Clearing this site's data wipes them and you start fresh from zero.
- Are the answers ever ambiguous or out of date?
- Some 'current event' style facts age (population figures, who holds a record, latest film releases). If you spot a question that's clearly stale, the safest answer is usually the one closest to the official figure at the time the question was written.
- Is this multiplayer or single-player?
- Single-player. There's no scoreboard or matchmaking. You can still pass the device around between turns, or each take a round and compare scores, but the app itself doesn't enforce turns or track separate players.
